Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using SAIB Builder (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Creating an account also means you acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

2. Purpose of the Service

SAIB Builder is an educational companion for social entrepreneurship programmes. It provides course content, quizzes, assignments, forums (when enabled), and builder tools to help you develop a business plan and related materials. The Service is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, accounting, or investment advice.

3. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. Programme access may require a valid cohort signup code and open registration as set by administrators. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify your instructor or administrators if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or harassing purposes
• Abuse AI assists, forums, or other features (for example, spam, scraping at scale, or attempts to bypass quotas or security)
• Access or modify other users' projects or data without authorisation
• Upload content that infringes others' rights or that you are not allowed to share
• Interfere with the Service infrastructure or other users' experience

5. Content ownership

You retain rights in the original work you create in your business-plan projects, subject to any separate agreement with your programme. By using the Service, you grant the Operator a limited licence to host, process, display, and back up that content solely to provide the Service (including instructor review, collaborator access, grading, and exports you initiate).

Course materials, branding, software, and documentation remain the property of their respective rights holders and may not be copied for commercial redistribution outside the programme without permission.

6. AI features

Optional AI assists may generate suggestions based on text you provide or that exists in your project. Outputs can be incorrect, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use them. The Operator does not warrant AI accuracy.

7. Collaborators and sharing

Project owners may invite collaborators within programme rules (for example, shared cohort membership). Only invite people who should see your project content. Collaborators must respect these Terms and any programme codes of conduct.

8. Availability and programmes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Access may be limited by cohort schedule, module unlocks, programme end dates, or extended access settings. The Operator may modify features, take the Service offline for maintenance, or retire a deployment.

9. Billing and subscriptions

Paid plans are purchased by the organization (school, institute, or partner) that runs a programme on the Service. Students and learner accounts are not customers and are not billed. Organization administrators may manage payment methods and invoices for their organization. Plan limits (for example active students or cohorts) may restrict new enrolments or features; existing work is not deleted if a subscription lapses. Enterprise arrangements may be invoiced separately under a written agreement.

10. Exports

Word, PowerPoint, print/PDF, and similar exports are provided for your educational use. Formatting and content fidelity are not guaranteed for every browser, device, or office suite.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator and contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the Service. The Service is an educational tool; any decisions you take for ventures or assessments remain your responsibility. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Suspension and termination

The Operator may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, security risk, or programme policy. You may stop using the Service at any time. Portions of these Terms that by nature should survive (for example, ownership and liability) will continue after termination.

13. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or your programme channels when appropriate.
